Outline
The High Voltage Power Supplies (HVPS) are used for Particle Accelerators, Broadcast Transmitters as well as Radio Frequency Amplifiers/Oscillators , covers the potential use in physics experiments , Industrial and medical applications. A novel scheme of dual output with single HVPS was explored, developed and implemented to design-validate 35-65 MHZ, 1.5MW Radio Frequency amplifier system for ITER. It offers an intrinsic advantage of two HVPS units (18kV & 27kV) in a single system at 3 MW.
