CMUs measures current with optical isolation mainly applicable for High Voltage systems. It’s primary role in High voltage power supply is to monitor current fast dynamics during Over Load condition. It provides additional digital event for Over current detection. It provides slow and accurate measurement for real time control system.

Present status
Commercial Scale model: Currently installed at NBTF facility of RFX Italy for SPIDER experiment. Operational at ITER-India in various power supplies like Ion Cyclotron HVPS and DNB Acceleration Grid PS. Technology developed with domestic industry and commercially available.
